SACO continuously innovates. SACO’s in-house R&D and manufacturing capabilities allow it to produce big or small, whether it’s a large quantity production or a one-off design. Once a product has been developed into a finished solution, it is tested and certified. In addition to lighting and media fixtures, the Company also produces many accessories to complete and enhance its product lines.
215,000sf FACILITY
SACO is based in Montreal, Canada and operates out of its 215,000sf R&D facility. With a highly skilled workforce, SACO is quick from R&D to market, meaning that SACO has the ability to quickly respond to customers’ needs. The foundation of the process is a modular technology approach. SACO has created standard technology tools that are modular and easily adaptable to customers’ needs. Packaging is designed around parameters provided by the customer. SACO has taken this process and implemented it into the architectural lighting and media product lines. This standardization provides the agency network with a more “simplified” set of products, often translating into an easier sell.

To prototype new designs, SACO utilizes the very latest in rapid prototyping technology, including 3D additive printing technology, subtractive metal and plastic CNC, PCB design and prototyping, fluid dynamics and real life heat testing.
